Bladder dysfunction, which can include frequency and/or urgency of urination, hesitancy in starting urination, frequent nighttime urination, and incontinence, occurs in at least 80% of people living with MS.  Join this call as we explore more about the normal neurologic control of the bladder and what can occur with MS regarding neurologic control. This call will also discuss signs and symptoms of bladder problems, diagnostic tests, and treatment options.

Guest Speaker: Dr. Lonny S. Green, M.D. is the director of the Virginia Women’s Continence Center in Richmond, VA.  He sees patients with urinary incontinence and bladder difficulties.  Dr. Green has received numerous honors, authored many articles in his field of study, and presented in the US and abroad. Dr. Green is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology, as well as the National Board of Medical Examiners.  He is active with the American Urological Association and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
