Estate planning for individuals with disabilities requires specific knowledge beyond ordinary legal documentation. This planning recognizes the special needs of a person with a disability and the relevant government benefits programs, care and living options, and quality of life. The cornerstone of an effective plan is an appropriately drafted Power of Attorney. While Powers of Attorney vary in characteristics, specific planning considerations related to disability issues must be considered in order to provide effective, long term use of this planning document.

Guest Speaker: Julian E. Gray, Certified Elder Law Attorney is the founder and managing attorney of Julian Gray Associates located in Moon Township and the South Hills of Pittsburgh, PA. Julian concentrates his practice in the areas of Elder Law, disability and special needs planning, as well as Veterans benefits. Mr. Gray received his undergraduate degree from Penn State University and his law degree from Duquesne University School of Law.
