Phil Rumrill, the foremost authority on employment and MS, delivered the keynote speech "Building your Employment Toolkit: Utilizing Resources to Maximize Employment" at the 2011 MS Employment Conference.

Phillip D. Rumrill Jr., PhD, CRC, is a professor of rehabilitation counseling and director of the Center for Disabilities Studies at Kent State University.

Dr. Rumrill is author of “Employment Issues and Multiple Sclerosis” and six other major books, 140 journal articles and 40 book chapters on rehabilitation, counseling and education. A frequent presenter at national and international conferences, he has received numerous awards, most recently the 2005 Rehabilitation Researcher of the Year Award from the National Council on Rehabilitation Education.

In addition to his extensive professional credentials, Dr. Rumrill’s experience with blindness gives him personal insight into living and working with a significant disability.
